PAYE calculator

Rates used, current as of July 2026: PAYE bands 10% to KES 24,000, 25% to KES 32,333, 30% to KES 500,000, 32.5% to KES 800,000, 35% above; personal relief KES 2,400/month. NSSF at 6% on Tier I (first KES 9,000) plus 6% on Tier II (KES 9,001 to KES 108,000), capped at KES 6,480. SHIF at 2.75% of gross (minimum KES 300). Affordable Housing Levy at 1.5% of gross. NSSF, SHIF and the Housing Levy are all deducted before PAYE is calculated. This is general information, not payroll or tax advice, and statutory rates change.
