Rates used, current as of July 2026: employer NSSF
matches the employee's contribution, 6% on the first KES 9,000
(Tier I) plus 6% on the next band up to KES 108,000 (Tier II).
Employer Affordable Housing Levy is 1.5% of gross salary, matching the
employee's own 1.5%. SHIF has no employer-side contribution. This does
not include leave, NITA training levy, gratuity, or any benefits you
choose to offer on top, those add further to the real cost. General
